HOT OFF THE PRESS:
1/30: When completing a discharge summary, be sure the client signs on the actual day of discharge, not the day before. Insurance companies sometimes consider the date next to the client's signature as the actual date of discharge, so if it's dated a day early, we lose a billable day. We can't bill for the day the client discharges.
